The Village Press Wins Gold!

The Village Press won the highest number of gold medals at the Hawkes Bay Olive Association awards for 2008.

This is the first time that The Village Press has entered any awards for it’s oils in either local or national competitions.  As we are New Zealand’s largest producer and supplier of Extra Virgin Oils in New Zealand  we have strategically focused  on producing excellent quality New Zealand Olive Oils at an affordable price.

We are delighted to announce that only 5 oils were entered with two golds and two silver medals being received.

Our Peta Mathias leccino won a gold medal along with our Picual variety. We received Silver medals for our Frantoio and Barnea varieties.

These awards confirm the excellent quality of the Village Press Olive oils which are available at the major supermarkets, larger deli’s and on our website.
