Farmers Markets

The Village Press is now at The Farmers Market every Sunday from 8.30am - 12.30pm at the Hastings Showgrounds and at The Blackbarn Market in Havelock North every Saturday from 9.00am - 12pm (Summer months only). Please visit Food Hawkes Bay to find out further related activities and schedules.

The producers of The Village Press are in attendance at the market and will be able to explain the merits of the different oils and the uses for them. These destinations are very popular for all foodies with a huge range of fresh produce, exciting sauces and freshly roasted coffees. A visit to The Farmers Market and The Blackbarn Market is certainly worthwhile and a great way to enjoy a Hawkes Bay morning for all the family.

New Zealand Food Shows

Following the excellent responses to our Food Show exhibits in 2009, we will again be at The Food Shows in Christchurch (26th - 28th March), Wellington(14th - 16th May) and Auckland (29th July - 1st August) in 2010.

We have been working hard to make these shows informative and exciting and will feature more instore demonstrations of food and wine. We look forward to seeing you there. Fine Food New Zealand Show

The Village Press will be attending this new trade show which will be held at The ASB Showgrounds in Auckland from the 13th - 15th June 2010. To find out more information about this event visit www.finefoodnz.co.nz.

NZ Olive Festival

The New Zealand Olive Festival will be held at the home of The Village Press - Sileni Estate - on Saturday 18th September 2010.  The Festival will include children's activities, olive oil tastings, olive appreciation workshops, cooking demonstrations, Olive Grower stalls, food and entertainment. Harvest Hawke's Bay

New Zealand's leading wine and food festival 'Harvest Hawke's Bay' had a new look in 2010 with more than 40 top wineries and boutique food producers in one central festival location - Roy's Hill in the Gimblett Gravels on State Highway 50 in Hastings.
