Terms and Conditions

  1. Only one entry will be accepted per person.
  2. The prize is for 12 x 1 Litre Bag N Box cartons of The Village Press olive oil. 12 x 1 Litre Bag N Box will be delivered to your door within 7 days of the competition winner being finalised. The retail value of this prize is approximately NZ$360. 1 x Farmlands Shareholder will also receive the prize of 12 x 1 Litre Bag N Box cartons of The Village Press olive oil. 12 x 1 Litre Bag N Box will be delivered to your door within 7 days of the competition winner being finalised. The retail value of this prize is approximately NZ$360. This second prize is exclusive to Farmlands Shareholders and the code 'Farmlands' must be selected from the 'How did you find us' option in order for you to be eligible for the draw.
  3. The competition is open to New Zealand residents only. Overseas entries will not be considered. The Competition is open from 29th July 2010 – 20th September 2010. The prize will be drawn on 21st September 2010 at 9am and every effort will be made to contact winners before close of business on the 21st September 2010.
  4. If you are under the age of 16, you must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before entering.
  5. Entrants must provide their name, address, phone number and email address when entering the competition. The Village Press will use your personal details for the purpose of administering this competition and unless specified you will be entered onto our newsletter database. You will be able to unsubscribe from this at any time.
  6. The Village Press will not provide your details to any third parties.
  7. The winner will be drawn at random from all the correct entries and only they will be contacted personally.
  8. The winner gives permission for their image and name to be used for promotional purposes for The Village Press.
  9. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives.
  10. Only the person who originally entered the competition can be awarded the prize.
  11. The Village Press does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet or email problems. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  12. Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes.
  13. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
  14. This competition is not open to employees, elected members or contractors of The Village Press or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition or their direct family members.
  15. The Village Press' decision is final in every situation and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The Village Press reserves the right to cancel the competition or change the prize at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  17. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
  18. These rules are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
  19. The Village Press will make all reasonable efforts to contact the prize winner via their supplied phone number and email. Prizes unclaimed after 7 days will be deemed to have been forfeited.
